Please Stop ! Take a few minutes and listen to the audio on this page Gordon Park Speedway has been a staple in the community of Augusta for nearly 60 years. Its evolution in the past year has brought on MX Racing and Kart Racing. Our facility is equipped with concessions, grand stands, stadium lighting and 2 sets of permanent restrooms. Gordon Park Speedway is located adjacent to one of America's largest military bases, For the 2010 racing season, we will be showing our support of the Men and Women serving our Country by allowing any Military Personnel free general admission into any regularly scheduled events at GPS. Our car track is a 4/10ths mile oval, primarily Georgia red clay. The oval is known for its ability to hold moisture and to be a dust free track. Come on out and check us out. Our MX track is open on a regular basis for practice and/or racing, with our car and kart track open for races only. Weather conditions will sometimes cause track closures for MX riders and/or races to be canceled. Click Here for the "Special Track Closures" information.
